Using R for hypothesis testing part 1 (in-person)

Part 1 of a 2-part workshop

In this workshop we will introduce the code for checking assumptions carrying out some common statistical tests in R. Across both workshops, we will look at t-tests, one-way ANOVA and repeated measures ANOVA. The principles learned for these functions can then be applied to other hypothesis tests.

This R workshop assumes a little basic knowledge of R. The required knowledge is covered by our "First Steps in R" Resources (available via our R Resources Page) or our "R for ultra-beginners" workshops (bookable via our workshops page). We will also assume you are familiar with the idea os a significance level and a p-value. You can read up on these topics here. This workshop is intended for students of any subject who would like to learn how to use R for hypothesis testing.
